Joyous is my one word for this special, definitely how it makes me feel…few facts I’m aware of, the two live numbers the band the old 97’s performed are original music for this show that they did the music and James Gunn the lyrics, Kevin’s real life wife actress Kyra Sedgwick was the voice of Kevin’s wife on the cell in the show, and that was the Wakanda version of Bucky’s arm, not sure if he got an upgrade and gave that up, it’s a spare, or his arm was stolen. Are we getting an Easter special?

The animation style was a nod to Ralph Bakshi, who was the animator behind the 1978 Lord of the Rings adaptation as well as other animated films like Fire and Ice, Wizards, and the rather infamous Fritz the Cat.

If you get the soundtrack, read the lyrics to "Fairytale of New York," by The Pogues. It is a mean, angry, funny, beautiful song.

To be exact, a Bob Seger song was used in a Ralph Bakshi animated film(American Pop). The "music video" is actually a scene from the film. The official music video is completely different. Small, fun fact: Bakshi hated to use the song in the film, but he couldn't afford the rights to the song he actually wanted for the scene: Free Bird. Thus ends the pedantry. ;)

Yeah V3 being the end of James Gun’s MCU run is sad, though never say never, was hoping he’d helm a young avengers film, but I’m very happy he is co-leading the DCU.
