It's awesome that they included breaking the Fourth Wall since that's a canonical part of the character. She's like Deadpool and has an understanding about the nature of her reality. Also, I love your reactions. Just recently joined and have absolutely no regrets.

I loved this episode! I am so excited to watch this series. Thanks for sharing your reaction! Also, I was fascinated by the implication that Bruce might have had Dissociative Identity Disorder. We only have a sample size of two, but what if any (genetically compatible) person "hulks" without losing their identity; it's only Bruce who, because of a pre-existing condition, assumed a different personality when hulking out.

This first episode was definitely better than I expected it would be. I'm still not fully sold on the show, because we didn't really get into whatever the actual plot will be, it was all setup. Plus, I'm not as big a fan of the sillier side of the MCU. But I thought the dynamic between Jennifer and Bruce was excellent. I think Tatiana Maslany did a very good job, and I'm curious to see where they go with this series. Here's hoping they don't wait long to explain why Jameela's character decided to bust into that courtroom, because RANDOM!

Been looking forward to this for months, and I wasn't disappointed. God I loved every second of this first episode.

He definitely has DID. In the Comics he has it since childhood, but in the MCU his DID manifested after his first transformation. Jennifer always had the advantage that she doesn't have to deal with that. Jennifer is always Jennifer while Bruce is always in danger of developing new personalities.

CAPTAIN AMERICA FUUU--- When I saw the chopstick Cheetos, I first thought of Oscar Issac and then I thought of you, hahahaha. I really enjoyed this - it was fun and the CG is better than I expected. Bruce mourning Tony was fantastic to see. Can't wait to see more of this show!

Lucrative career path - Bruce Banner's optician.

I don’t mind the silly side because sometimes you see with DC it gets too heavy. I like when they can lighten things up and make me laugh, make me cry but then bring us some really good action and story

I love that people are saying they were thinking of me with the chopsticks and the Cheetos! I feel so seen! I’m happy that they addressed Bruce dealing with some form of emotions because he never even really talked about Natasha. It’s almost like it was so one-sided he was either calm or he was angry so he was either Bruce or he was the Hulk. I love hearing him speak of Tony as though they were best friends and he misses him

I mean, I'm fine with humor, Shazam is one of my favorite DC movies. I guess it's more the stuff like the last two Thor movies that really left a sour taste in my mouth. *shrug* Maybe it's just that I've been rewatching Daredevil lately and remembering how amazing it is :)

I do think Thor has gone “zany” and but off kilter, but I dig Taika’s humor so I’m a little biased. It’s not for everyone. I adore Shazam! I think the humor is better balanced because of the kid element. When it’s silly it feels okay because of kids. Sometimes Thor just goes off the rails.

Plus, Shazam had so much heart to it. The jokes felt appropriate to the material. Not so with Thor. Taika was HYSTERICAL in Free Guy, though :)

It's really nice that we're seeing Bruce's grief. He lost Tony, he lost Steve(they haven't actually confirmed whether old Steve is still alive, have they?), he lost Nat, and he didn't have that many friends to begin with.
