It's funny, after season 4 there was a lull and I was jonesing for a scifi show. I started watching Dark Matter, that seems neat... Uh. Wow. Very... VERY different, um, goals and direction. I was so happy when Expanse season 5 dropped...

Re-watching The Expanse with reactors allows us to sorta re experience what is was like the first time we saw it. The show was definitely under appreciated and never really got the promotional support it deserved. But the story does demand a lot from it's audience - and while I'd go so far to say that the books are better - being a different medium it's really not appropriate to say that - but the writers do a good job in their adaptation for sure.
