Had a whole essay written, but I'll just TLDR, and say that the reaction from the Manosphere (quick Google for anyone that doesn't know what this refers to) that this show, and Prey (Big Recommend) have inspired has been both expected, and weirder than I've ever seen in relation to other female led shows, and movies. They are so much angrier about these two products, despite both products being far less preachy than the recent norm. There's also this absolute denial that most people are actually enjoying these products. I almost wish I had been writing some kind of dissertation on the Manosphere response to the rise of female leads in the MCU. Almost. Anyways, love your reaction. This could just be wishful thinking on my part, but I don't think you should worry about something bad happening to Nikki. Don't know much about She-Hulk comics, but I don't believe trauma, and loss are topics that are explored much in them unless it's in regards to Bruce or a client she's representing. I think they focus more on civil rights mixed in with comedy, but with supes usually playing the stand-ins for other groups. She's actually the perfect character to introduce to the MCU alongside Mutants. Of course, the MCU always does its own thing, and I'm perfectly okay with that, but I'd rather they don't fridge Nikki for She-Hulk's character development.
