your HAIR!!!! (looks good!)

Trying to don non-spoiler answers to your questions: 1. The figure in the intro, we saw back in season one, just briefly. If I narrow it down to episode 11, does that help? 2. Go to Darktow? No, that was just some strangers on the side of the road. Darktow was a location in another campaign and was probably little more than an easter egg for those of us that listen to the streams. 2.5 Also at the docs with the "your turn to roll", the board game is a game produced by Darrington Press, the gaming arm of Critical Role. :-) 3.0 Did her mom try that ritual? Not that we know of, we know mom left for an aramente of her own, and was last seen talking to the fire ashari as we were told last season in episode 5.

Your hair looks amazing!! And it's the Matron of Ravens in the show, but people keep saying the Raven Queen since that's what she was in the stream. So you're technically right, either way. Wizards of the Coast owns the Raven Queen, though, so CR had to use a different name for the show (and in their newer campaigns).

Trivia: Stilben is where it all began*. Before there was an Exandria, before there was a Tal'dori, before there was an Emon, there was a little town called Stilben that Matt created as a setting for a one-shot game for some of his voice acting friends. A group of friends that had so much fun playing, they decided to keep playing together for over twelve years and counting. *edit: I guess I should have said: where it all begin. :D Explanation: A year or three back, Matt had a funny twitter typo and tweeted "It has begin". They haven't let him forget it, and now there's even a t-shirt for sale that uses it for a logo. (which I need to order soon)

Your Turn to Roll - That's a reference to the second opening title song from the second campaign. Written by Sam, with main vocals by Laura and Ashley and backup vocals by Sam and Travis. edit: If you want to hear the song without even the tiniest spoilers, you can either play the first link(audio only) or you can watch the second link that's a cover by the group VoicePlay. (hopefully Patreon doesn't autodelete the links) 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZYZb9EmYVg 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-WOuHGCWy0 (Minor flex - I was able to snag the classic CR shirt Cesar(upper right) is wearing at one of their charity costume auctions. Way too small for me( :( lol) but I didn't buy it to wear.)

Keyleth, the air ashari that does everything with fire.

Someone’s already pointed out that “Your turn to roll” is the name of the Mighty Nein campaign theme (which also influences the LoVM end credits theme) but I’m also pretty sure the game those guys are playing is Uk’otoa, a nautically-themed game published by Critical Role’s Darrington Press.

Nathaniel Castle

I like the idea that although Keyleth wants vengeance what she really wants is to help her friends and so her vision took her to where she can do that. Loving the hair feel that you are slowly turning into a Noir Femme Fatale (god help the private detective you coax into taking a job for you!) Great reaction Excited to see the next

I guess the only thing I'm bothered by is that the others weren't simply ignoring Keyleth's warmings. But they knew that using Raishan was their best chance to defeat Thordak, and they didn't trust her at all. Could they have beat Thordak without her? For the stakes, you have to stack the odds. They all let their guard down after Thordak was finally killed. But quite frankly I think Keyleth was more angry at herself and took it out on the rest of them. That's how I feel about it.

Wes

yeah i think youre on it with her projecting some of her own insecurity on the others, but i also think theres a little in there from the live campaign, just a moment to reflect on the audience at the time and how there was a portion of them who were BRUTAL to keyleth and marisha for a lot of things she said and did to the point that "thanks keyleth" became an inside joke.

Wes

Spooky hair! love it!

I never really understood the Marisha/Keyleth hate during campaign 1. And at a certain point I stopped watching chat. But Marisha has some of my favorite characters through all the campaigns so far. And I can honestly say I don’t have a “least” favorite. They all have a place in my heart. :)

Michael Kemmet

I think it's also a reference to the period where Keyleth really did almost leave the group. Roughly the 20s-40s. The cows episode in particular was a rough one. Things improved quite a bit when 1. Orion was asked to leave, and 2. The Briarwood Arc kicked off and things started transitioning to a more epic narrative tone.

If you're going to do covers, you have to listen to the extended cover by Cami-Cat and Annapantsu. They did two versions, Rock Version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1c77otdnZ4 Edit: The artwork for this next one contains a spoiler, so might want to skip this: Acoustic version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Mx17eyAYdI They created a second verse to it, and it's great.

Jonathan

Just read that last line. That's a MAJOR flex. I don't think they made a second run of those. So that would be one of the 100 shirts that they did as a test run. During the live stream, they announced they were selling those shirts, and LITERALLY, before they had even finished the announcement, they had sold out. Definitely frame that, hang it up on display, that's a big piece of CR history.

What we know of from the campaign could be very different than what they do in the series. In the campaign, we do find out what happened to Keyleth's mom, but they could change that entirely in the show. Also, it's funny. In the campaign, the way Ripley was killed was the one and only team "How do you want to do this?". I'm sure you know, but when the players have defeated an enemy, Matt asks the one that got the killing blow, "How do you want to do this?" to let them narrate the epic final move that defeats the enemy. So her death actually goes much like you describe. This is a highly edited clip of the fight. It's about 10 minutes long. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHS_46Jcz0Y Edit: This one is shorter, but shows the entire death moment, which the above clip cut off (leaving out the key moment of Vex): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wigKwN84W74 A bit of trivia, Gil is a blacksmith. He made custom dice for each member of the cast (if I remember correctly). Custom forged metal dice. So when Marisha says "don't f*** me Gil", she's using the dice he created.
