I like to think that Grog's blackout was a joke on Travis interjecting into the game. He often helps to herd the group out of analysis paralysis, and he's also really smart, figuring things and secrets out before most of the others.

Ooooo, it's just a theory, but I think they're setting up Pike for a potential turn to the dark side. Her blood magic from the other episode, the interest Zerxes has in her, and she couldn't control the armor until Zahra basically told her "Do it for revenge". Think our little Pikey might be in trouble.

I could see your point but I don't agree with that. Blood stuff isn't inherently evil, especially if it's nobody else's, it's just usually portrayed as spooky and occult. I think it's just hinting at something really powerful about her lineage from way way back in time. And I think Zahra's talk combined with Zerxes' was about believing in yourself, instead of another. We know that Clerics run on faith, but throughout the show we see the gods being unreliable or dispassionate. For Pike to have faith in HERSELF is not dark at all, I think it's rather inspiring because then her power is her own. When I think of "revenge" I think Percy at the end of season 1 is the quintessential image: to be so obsessed with retribution that you would even hurt those close to you. Pike did no such evil; in fact she ran to take the blue fire blast for the sole purpose of protecting those she cares about. I don't think this is Pike losing herself; I think this is Pike finding herself.

Totally agree with what you're saying, but I think its double sided. Because your explanation still doesn't account why Zerxes is so interested in her. I think she's going to discover power in herself, but probably from a dark source. Not to say she won't overcome it and be good ole Pike in the end, but I think it'll be a bit of a struggle. Like I said, just a theory.

At this point of the campaign, Liam had recently lost his mother to cancer, and was doing his best to carry on. He has mentioned that getting the killing blow on Thordak, who killed Vax's mother was a cathartic experience, like he had defeated the cancer that plagued his mother.
