For your question about why Keyleth was alive when everyone else was dead, it goes to her class. High level Druids basically stop aging. They don't get older but easily live as long as their race can, and so as a half-elf she'll live for hundreds of years and seem relatively young. The gnomes and other half elves might live a long time too, but look at their lifestyle... Also, they'll get older and weaker as they age. Finally, as a high level druid, she can take on the forms of all sorts of greater elementals at will and is basically unkillable in fights. So that's why Osyssa called out her fear of outliving everyone that sees her accomplish her aramente.

Yes, Lance finished recording before he died. His last performance.

The favor Vex owed Scanlan: She saved the broom from fire. Scanlan figured out the magic word to activate it as a flying broom. He said he'd give her the activation word in exchange for a favor to be named later. He gave in and gave it to her in the fight in Pyra, but she said she'd honor the agreement anyway.

For who could use the Plate of the Dawn Martyr, based on history - not spoilers, the masculine vision is more of a historic depiction. For this group, look at who wears heavy armor... Percy could wear it as a fighter, he's proficient, but dexterity based fighters usually get better protection using that dexterity instead of heavy armor. Even if this sounds spoilery, we know they've said that this season deviates more from the actual play than seasons 1 and 2, so that's why I'm not even basing this on the stream, just the game rules.

Great start to the season! Looks like its going to be very ship heavy lol. Glad Lance was able to give one last performance. Kinda of surprised Scalan used his one favor to borrow Vex's broom? Did he HAVE to track his daughter down before the mission? (Yeah, I know its so the group wouldn't have the broom or mythcarver during the chase, but still.)

*Waiting patiently for S3 and these reactions 🤩 Ripley's first name is Anna so your guess wasn't too far off. Vorugal (voiced by Liam) is the other dragon

So fun that Liam got to start the season trying to eat/freeze himself 😂 This is the area of Vox Machina that I know the least about from the original campaign, so I can't wait to see where this season goes! Great to have you back for season 3, don't think you went anywhere, but still!

Lance recorded his voice acting over a year ago, but not sure if that means the entire season, though the way Mercer has commented I think he may have

Also remember Mythcarver, how it grew and shrank based on who was using it.

There is a lot of similarity between Ripley and Raishan. They aren't out to rule the world. They are both motivated by pure self interest. Similarly Percy's reaction to Ripley in season 1 is very similar to Keyleth's reaction to Raishan. They both suffered deeply personal injuries due to Ripley/Raishan. Also, the gun Ripley had wasn't the gun Percy crrated. She built her own. She had started to build one when they found her originally, but it was broken. He took that and repaired it, and is using that. And Orthax (the demon) helped her create a new one the same as it helped Percy create his gun originally.

Yes, the spice dealer was another Matt. It’s a reference to a subplot from the campaign where Scanlan misinterpreted a request to bring back some spices from Ank’Harel as him asking for an illegal drug,

I didn't hear it on the first or second watching, but if you listen closely to the "wind" while Keyleth is preparing to cast Transport Via Plants on the Sun Tree, you can hear a gentle, "alright, alright, alright". Matthew McConau-tree confirmed. :D

Also, the spice merchant farts were explained the other night during a live launch party with the cast, some guest stars, and several of the production team. Originally, the merchant's eyes dart to the side because there was supposed to be something happening behind him. That got cut late in the production(after the animation was finished). So they either had to spend time and money to have part of the scene redrawn or come up with a new thing for him to be reacting to. So Travis and Sam channeled their inner 12-year olds(and their love of torturing Matt) and decided on farts. One early draft had him farting with every step, but even they thought that was over the top when they actually heard it. But they did record well over a dozen real farts so that each step would be unique. lol
