FULL LENGTH REACTION

Two perception based comments: I have worked in a diagnostic lab in a hospital and labcoats were available basically on tap and therefore left literally everywhere. And while the policy was to challenge people you didn't recognize for their credentials I probably hit up hit up three people in all my time there, and only as they came in through unsecured doors. Assuming you can start inside the secure perimeter like Rose does this is 100% accurate Second, no-one would blame you for mistaking the two generic 'cute-boys-at-desks'. But Matt is cuter. :)

Not-Martha sighting! Last season beat us over the head with "Bad Wolf" in every episode. This season was much more subtle. The sphere crashed through the universes off screen and our only the TARDIS landing in a different universe suggests it happened. Then we meet the Devil/Satan/Big Evil Guy who comes from before time and here the Doctor calls the void, the space in between time-space, "hell". It brings things together so nicely.

Wait. Is this the new schedule? 2 Doctor Who episodes per week? This is what I get for volunteering to do a 30-day TAD in the suck. The penultimate episode of the second series and it's a doozy. I love this two-parter. It's such a peek into the heart of the Doctor. Also, Allons-y (as others probably have said) is French for "Let's Go!".

There are so many little things that make this episode work so well - for example, if Rose had been up in the command center with The Doctor she likely would have recognized the double-earpiece and vacant expression and caught on, while The Doctor simply doesn't pay enough attention to people to have noticed. That line when Jackie is talking about "50 years in the future" when she says "won't even be human" I find that to be infuriating and disgusting and frankly a horrific thing to say to her own daughter. First time through, even after realizing it was the Cybermen, I wasn't expecting Mickey and didn't recognize him from behind when Rose was following him. Also didn't expect Daleks to come out of the sphere, so the episode very much left me with a "wait, what?" feeling in those final moments. There's nothing wrong with loving the Daleks as a fictional antagonist in the story, and is completely different from actually supporting their philosophy.

I was SO torqued somebody spoiled the "mickey is gone forever" Thing for Angela. I was REALLY looking forward to her surprise when he showed up.

Tiny Octopus

If only more people adhered to a certain archaeologist's philosophy. "Spoilers, darling."

So now I can't resist watching the final episode either, because it's been a long time. But I'll be back to watch your reaction next week anyway!

The Inedible Mattman!

The meeting of the Daleks and Cybermen is a genius move by RTD. These are legendary villains!! To see Tennents Doctor battle BOTH?! I swear, I remember screaming gleefully when they emerged from the sphere. I’m going to have to wait until after work Monday to watch your reaction, but I’m telling you now it’s going to be hell having to wait. No chance you’ll spoil us with a surprise Saturday drop or anything??

The Inedible Mattman!

That’s totally fair. You produce quality content and I’m very grateful for that! Thank you for all you do!

Just go to the left.

Reply to @funnylilgalreacts. Then release on Saturday instead. It *was* on on Saturdays, except that time in the '80s when it was twice weekly in the week (Wednesday and Thursday) and until Chibnall put it on on Sundays. So could do twice a week Saturday and Sunday. — And of course release day and watching don't have to be the same day.

Firstly, space-time or spacetime, not "time-space". Secondly, it's the space in between cosmoses or universes, to be clearer and more sensical and meaningful. And as for, "Then we meet the Devil/Satan/Big Evil Guy who ... and here the Doctor calls the void, the space in between time-space, "hell". It brings things together so nicely." Er, firstly bit silly calling the Void, the space in between cosmoses or universes "hell" is a bit silly anyway, and given the Beast or the Devil etc. it doesn't "brings things together so nicely", it makes no sense at all or less than no sense because it directly contradicts the earlier story with the Beast looking like the Devil and claiming to be the Devil, Satan etc. and diabolical/devilish Hell implied to exist!

David Wilke

David Tennant, so Tennant's not Tennent's, let alone "Tennents". And use apostrophes for possession and missing letters. They are not optional.

David Wilke

"FULL LENGTH" Reaction ? Then why is the picture blurred and ALL the sound cut?!‽!? In what sense is this a "Full" reaction then?!?‽ We have paid, and not just lower or even medium charge, but high charge and then the video has LESS Doctor Who Episode content in than the cut videos we can see for free, including free on YouTube! Sorry!?!! Seriously?!‽!!‽

Sean

Clearly, you require more of an explanation to understand. In comparison to the previous season, this season "brings things together so nicely" by introducing concepts individually and then utilizing them in the finale. For instance, when discussing the Beast, the Doctor states that he would believe him if he had stated he came from "beyond the universe" suggesting that there is some existence outside of what we conceive as the universe. That beyond the universe location is the void as he later explains in the finale; as silly as it is, he does state very clearly that some call the void "hell". In addition, the separate universes existing in parallel come back in the finale.

It seems you need an explanation here as well. See, copyright law prohibits recording and distributing the content by anyone not authorized by the copyright holder. What is offered here is the full length, unedited reaction to the episode. If you expected to see the episode, you should have spent your money on a streaming service authorized by the copyright holder to host the content. Now, fair use law is a caveat to copyright which permits excerpts of the content to be shared without penalty so long as the context transforms the content. Reactions fall into the transformative category so long as they offer critique, review, in-depth examination of themes, etc. Ergo, the edited versions can contain scenes from the episode but not the entire episode.
