The "Previously On" will become a staple of the show, and honestly kind of a necessary one - the story is only going to keep getting bigger. And it's not for a while yet but at one point there's a "Previously On" that contains a moment from a scene that had been cut from the previous episode. That craft was one of Moya's "transport pods" - it's what Aeryn was teaching John to fly when they got caught in the Flax, and tends to be what they use going up and down from planets, since John's pod and Aeryn's prowler are both only two-seaters and have no space for supplies. Yes, Zahn did ask for cut stone - the scene started with them hiding an explosive device in a pile of rocks, and Zahn saying they'll need more rocks to hide the other devices. It's not super clear, because it happens entirely off-screen later, but those devices create the firewall that protects the transport pod from the Peacekeepers until they can get back to it. Scorpius said in the previous episode that he identified John as an imposter because "his energy signature" was different, but we don't know exactly what he meant by that or how he knew. And yes, his ability to remain calm and calculating is one of the most frightening things about him. I won't go into any details at all, because spoilers, but it's amazing what turns out to be foreshadowing over the long term... Frell, I love this show.

Joined your patreon when I saw you were doing Farscape. :) Never new of "reactor channels" before but watching you watch the things I love is addictive! It's fun how harshly you judge Taavo for crashing in to John in ep 1. I mean, if you're on a country road doing a hundred, and a kangaroo jumps into the road 50m ahead, there's really not much you can do to avoid it...

The beauty of the long 20 episode series allows the story to build, to simmer-- reminds me (when done well) of reading a good novel. Today's streaming on stories like this, and esp in Sci-Fi worlds, need the long build we are seeing the crap results, i.e. : Dr Who.
