Magneto pulling out the adamantium from Logan was a straight image pull from when they did that in the comics in the 90’s, and when it happened in the comics, I legit thought they were killing Wolverine off. Even though I’ve read that story before, I was still floored by it in this episode. This show is one of the best things I have ever seen in my life, thank you Marvel for green lighting this show!!!

Wondering when the last time you watched the X-Men movies was, because there wasn’t much reaction to that reference. If you think back on it, it was a kind of classic line of Wolverine complaining about the costumes and Cyclops replied “what were you expecting, yellow spandex?” So in this one, to ask about the black level was decades worth of beautiful shade! ESPECIALLY now after seeing that costume in DP3…

I love that they showed the sisterhood between Jean and Storm like in the comics. Most adaptations never touch on their relationship. The team up of Jean and Morph for the MorphSmash was awesome. The anger towards Charles is kinda valid considering the last time any of them saw him, he was dying and had no guarantee the Shi'ar could save him, and he never once tried contacting them to let them know he was still alive or that he wasn't coming back. Even Lilandra suggested he contact them for their wedding and he brushed it off. I'm not sure if you missed it but Jean said Bishop and Nathan were separated in the timestream and Nathan arrived in a different future alone. It might explain his anger towards Scott. Anyways, I'm enjoying your reaction and I think you're doing a great job.

Yeah Wolverine losing his Adamantium skeleton is a huge event and one that shook little comic reader me. Fantastic to see it in the cartoon and yet ANOTHER reason why this series was epic.

I'm glad they didnt dwell on rogue dropping trask because honestly there were plenty of xmen that could have saved him after she did it but none of them even moved to try. ;-)
