I started watching with Eccleston and I liked him but I was also intrigued by the idea of different actors portraying the role of the Doctor. It’s a great concept to keep the show fresh and going for as long as people are willing to watch. Tennant is a phenomenal actor, and while he’s not even my favorite Doctor (that would be Capaldi) he did a fantastic job. If you end up loving him, check out some of his latest work in Good Omens—he only got better with age.
