Just a note on last episode, the impression I got wasn't so much that Rose's father was a fixed point, but rather that... unlike pretty much everywhere else they go, the ONLY reason they were ever there is because Rose asked and so saving him means she would have never been there to save him. That whole paradox. Although fixed points kind of feel like that two, whenever the Doctor says something is a fixed point, he already KNOWS what's supposed to happen.

To your post-episode comments... It was definitely a weekly show back then. By Matt Smith's "every other week" comment, perhaps he was referring to a season that had a lot of two-parters? I'm a new subscriber to your patreon and I've gotta say it's really fun stepping back into Doctor Who with you. Hope you keep enjoying it!
