The coronavirus death rate is approaching 10% in Italy. Don't underestimate its lethality - Spanish flu's mortality rate was 2.5% at its peak and it killed more than all of the soldiers and civilians killed during World War I. What is worse is that just like Spanish flu, this virus may become even more deadly after mutating for a few months.

Stay at home. Wash your hands. Covid-19 is a respiratory disease so wearing a mask outside does add an extra layer of security.
