i don't realy understand the "lovecraft" thing, is this another game ? a dlc ? an update ?

A second game, started out as a stopgap between FD and FD2, then became FD2. FD itself won't officially be finished until story mode is complete and added, and thats taking time. Rather than going silent for months and leaving the animators and modellers nothing to do the guys are releasing their work on FD2 (Operation Lovecraft) as it happens. From the descriptions of ideas it sounds like a much more ambitious project than FD, so its probably good that they're getting a headstart.
