Pontifex, the "bridge builder", is a high priestess of the starry wisdom sisterhood. Through ominous benediction, dreadful sacrifice and unrelenting dedication, they managed to catch a glimpse of the cosmos truth crystallized in the church's unholy reliquiae: the shining trapezohedron.

The malevolent essence of the spirit manifested through the shining trapezohedron twisted the abbess's mind and form, granting them unnatural abilities and making them the true bridge builders between gods and men, men and women, as their title suggests.
