End of August Post (Patreon)

Hello everyone, wanted to drop in for an end of month post.

I would like thank all the long term patrons and all the newcomers as well, a lot of excitement surrounding HXH :D 

  • I will be doing a video for HXH Episode 1 (1999) at some point in September
  • I will be figuring out what to do as the Vinland Saga replacement at some point in September. I do want to continue using that slot as the currently airing/newer show slot, JJK S2 is a possibility for sure.

Regrettably, the month is ending on a disappointing note with the delays, and I am more than happy to refund any pledges that were for Monster or Doctor Who, as these were the two that really fell behind. So please feel free to drop a private message and I will make sure to refund your August pledge in the next couple of days. 

I do believe that it would be beneficial to take two prep days in the beginning of September to steady the ship and recover from this wobble. So there will be no uploads on September 1st and 2nd, both here and on YouTube. Wanted to provide this update so you can take that into consideration.

Thanks as always for the communications on how things are going and what your plans are, they're always very useful. I'm excited for whatever show you decide to pick up on after Vinland, I quite like JJK so I'll be hoping for it, even if it might not be the one chosen, anyways have a good one, and thank you as always for the great content!

Super excited for what’s coming up for the rest of the year, especially with JJK potentially getting added in the mix! I’m still waiting for the day that Steins;Gate finally gets picked from the poll. I’ve been waiting so long lol!

It's cool man, as much as I want you to watch some more bangers I think it's more important for you to not burn out so if it's necessary just cut out on some slots if it's too demanding. I mean I see your list of shows on your page that you want to react to at some point and I understand that it's probably pressuring you to do more rather than less but once again we're here for quality not quantity. You'll never be able to react to everything that you and your subscribers want sadly so it's fine to focus on what you can do step by step. And even though most of the shows on your list (at least anime) are pretty good and I like most of them I think only few of them are really significant as a piece of art that can withstand the test of time and are really worth your time in terms of reacting to them and discussing. Some just can be watched in your free time. But which ones is of course really subjective and it's hard to make a cut that won't offend anybody. To me for example it's criminal that there's no Monogatari Series in your list because imo only few shows from your list can compare or surpass Monogatari in terms of being a really unique piece of art that's worth watching and discussing. But I understand that your list is wide enough already and maybe some of the mods or people you trust just aren't fans of Monogatari which I totally understand, it's definitely not for everyone. So cheers, don't beat yourself too hard over some setbacks it’s part of life. Keep on being positive mate!

Hi, I'm Japanese Evangelion fanboy. I really enjoyed your reaction&review on YouTube, so I became member yesterday. Especially your reviews are very deeper than any other YouTuber's reaction. I hope you will reaction Evangelion movies(The End of Evangelion, Rebuild of Evangelion) after TV series.
