The framing of the creature with the doctor is an easter egg, but it is also something that could possibly be a spoiler, but yes it was on purpose. Fantastic finale to this landmark in animation. If you decide to do it, I can't wait for Bridgind the Rift.

This might be one of my favorite discussions that you’ve ever done, and I’ve been around since your early AoT reactions 😂 you connected small throwaway lines all the way back to the very first episode with stuff that happened here. It usually takes multiple rewatches or even other people to point that out, but here you are, just flexing your skills like it’s nothing. Never change man. My favorite thing about that table scene is Jinx’s eyes. You can see her go through like 20 different emotions all in that scene and it’s reflected perfectly in her eyes. Especially towards the end, when she’s numb after Silco’s death, then becomes angry and cries. She’s absolutely the best animated character I’ve ever seen, it’s not even close lol. Amazing job animators, you deserve every award you got. It took me a little while to be in the mood to watch other shows after finishing this one, it just left such a huge impression that it was hard to move on from. So much stunning imagery and characters… literally everything. Like, they even made people appreciate the political aspect. That’s such a hard thing to get most people to enjoy, yet they did it. The respect the writing had for every character’s opinion (and as an extension every viewer’s opinion) is just so incredible. Also the representation. Different races, genders, sexualities, etc. were all on display and none of it was phoned in. All this obvious effort is a large part of what makes this season an absolute 10/10 in my eyes. Ik this is long but I honestly feel like I should comment more than this, there’s so much I could say but honestly you’ve just knocked it out of the park with that discussion that there isn’t much of a point (also it’s pretty late here lol). I guess all that’s left is a couple small things, like the doctor’s name. “Singed” is literally just referencing the fact that he got singed, like burned by the fire. So it’s pronounced like that, nothing fancy. Oh and the thing in Singed’s lair at the end is not something you should recognize, so don’t worry about that. It’s an easter egg most likely. Thank you once again for your videos, you are by far the most entertaining reactor out there imo. I think you mentioned the new Attack on Titan episode will be next, so excited for that, as well as any potential Bridging the Rift videos 👀

I do hope the trend continues with unique ways of innovating 3d animation. Into the Spider-verse is also an amazing film with some of the most impressive animation to date. If you haven't watched it yet, definitely consider checking it out. Another one to consider is the newest Puss n' Boots movie. The story is nothing groundbreaking (and as you've mentioned it doesn't need be) and maybe not reaction worthy, but the way it presents itself, on top of having stellar animation, I would definitely recommend it as something to check out on your own time. (You also don't need to watch the first one to follow what happens in this movie) Some notes on the episode: -The panning shot with Silco's doctor, while important, is something that the players of the game will probably be able to grasp and theorize its significance more than someone who has no prior knowledge of the game. And even then not even we are a 100% on it. -As a fun little side note. The way Vi uses the Hextech gloves is really impressive considering it's initial use as a mining tool. The main thing I wanted to point out with that though is the "new ability" is probably a shield that would be used to protect users in the event of falling debris/cave-ins. Just a neat little detail. Keep up the great reactions!

I've got a busy early week coming, but I can't not drop a small comment here thanking you for covering this series. Thoroughly enjoyed re-experiencing it with you, and I'm glad you also ended up liking the series this much.

You mentioned the great original song this episode, not sure if you caught it in the credits as it scrolled past, but it was actually performed by Sting, there’s loads of big artists on the original songs for each episode so here’s a list in order, I’m sure you’ll recognise some names here: Episode 1: “Playground” feat. Bea Miller Episode 2: “Our Love” feat. Curtis Harding, Jazmine Sullivan Episode 3: “Goodbye” feat. Ramsey Episode 4: “Dirty Little Animals” feat. Bones UK Episode 5: “Enemy” feat. Imagine Dragons & JID Episode 6: “Guns For Hire” feat. Woodkid Episode 7: “Misfit Toys” feat. Pusha T, Mako & “Dynasties and Dystopia” feat. Denzel Curry, Gizzle, Bren Joy Episode 8: “Snakes” feat. PVRIS, Miyavi Episode 9: “When Everything Went Wrong” feat. Fantastic Negrito & “What Could Have Been” feat. Sting, Ray Chen

Amazing discussion as per usual! I´ve loved rewatching the series along with you. R.I.P Silco, iconic villain, the voice actor (Jason Spisak) did such an amazing work. My favourite cold open its his on episode 3. About Mel Im 50/50 about her death (but i hope not pls), in one hand i dont want her to die because i like her a lot, but in the other i think could be too spicy for Jayce and Mel´s mom development in the story. In case u watch the Bridging the rift 5 parts documentary you need to know: Part 2,3,4,5 are spoiler free, but the first part has kind of little spoilers like characters designs based on the future of the show, so i let you the time stamps: 00:58 - 1:07 (dont see/u can listen) 2:26-2:36 (dont see/dont listen) 9:15- 9:24 (dont see/still listen)

I gotta say the full version of the song that plays at the end which is called "What Could Have Been" by Sting and Ray Chen became my favorite from this show on a second listen. I do recommend you take a look at the lyrics too as it's this heartbreaking dialogue between Jinx and Vi which also doubles as being between Zaun and Piltover. Ray Chen (who had a cameo as the violinist in the politicking scene in the theater in Ep 5 or 6) is absolutely spellbinding on the violin mainly towards the middle of this song which is just pure magic. The way in which (imo) he conveys Jinx/Zaun's progression here in the violin interlude with the tension slowly building up and then leading to this almost orgasmic release! It's so intense it's like the visual of the blue rocket streaking across the blood red sky carrying all of Jinx/Zaun's pent up anger and hurt towards Piltover perfectly conveyed in the form of a violin solo

I think the other two are a biiig stretch, but the audio at 2:26-2:36 really could be considered spoiler for anyone who doesn't want to know what the character does in the game. (Even though basically everyone and their grandma knows it)

Now that you've completed the series, you should watch the behind the scenes documentary - it's really good! Maybe you could cover it on the channel too

Showing up quite late here, but I couldn't not drop my comment for this incredible season finale and your analysis that is nothing short of wonderful! ✨️ I just love how thoughtful you are about everything! Arcane absolutely deserves every award it has won. One of the best things I've watched in the last couple of years!🤩 The effort that was put into this show, the imagery, the animation, the art, the details, the storytelling, the voice acting, the soundtrack, everything is on another level! "The monster you created!" The final title easily relates to the story of so many characters. These people at this point are no longer the same. Everyone has changed in some way. Oh man, I'll just sign below everything you said in this discussion. Just FANTASTIC! 👌🏼🤌🏼✨️ I'm so glad that you watched it and enjoyed so much what you saw. Thank you!

Im so glad you've got a chance to see this one with us. Arcane is incredible. I am really hyped up for upcoming S2, as a gamer, I have a lot of things to desire in the future. So many things could be at play in season 2. What Im interested in is are we staying at Piltover&Zaun for whole thing or do we travel further. And I especially interested in these show-original characters, that are not present in the game, like Sevika (they should add her in to the game she is so cool), Mel, Mel's Mother. But also we have characters we know how they should kinda end up, but once again Arcane doesn't follow original canon fully: Viktor's resolution (he is so much far from what we know of him from the game), Heimer&Ekko, Singed (Silco's doctor, who is very interesting in the original lore) and his little experiment. And also round of applause for Silco, a show-original character, he was probably the best character in this season. And especially interesting, will they round up plot a little bit? I said a while back that I ended up not liking some of the plot/pacing elements of the Arcane, I hope in the S2 we will get an even better story than this.

I'm a bit late but I love that thumbnail. That's my favorite scene of season 1 (besides the ending). ❤ Silco had a nealy perfect arc and when I saw this scene I knew he wasn't going to make it. 😢😭 ugh I'm tearing up again. Silco finally understood why Vander did what he did and Silco is also not willling to sacrifice his daughter to achieve his goals. That moment is so important. And even when Jinx shot him he didn't turn his back on her but instead told her how much he loves her. "I never would have given you to them. Not for anything. Don't cry - you're perfect:" What a line. One of the saddest scenes I have seen in a while. 😭

Its a fantastic ending, I personally believe Mels armour will at least save her due to the way it shined, I think it has some sort of special armour, while Victors mechancic enhancements will save him. I believe Jayce will survive but not sure how, while I think all the others could die
