this is going to sound weird but the chaotic drama in this show, the effortless balancing of the characters and getting to know little things about them before everything hits the fan and you get giant revelations so fast it's hard to process them, all of it really reminds me of the structure of a Charles dickens novel.

There's something so terrifying about her reveal, there's no sound shift, she just appears out of nowhere with her creepy smile and then the scene abruptly cuts. Straight up something from a horror movie.
