Im, are you going to react to the first ED? It's already out on YT (With footage, not credits)

great analysis as always. you're really giving the work that Fujimoto and the staff put into this story justice.

Great episode. Aki and Power are amazing, you are going to love them! It's cool that you noticed that picture, that's an anime-only addition btw, gotta google it myself. Also one of the scenes was removed, Im pretty sure you are safe to check it out, it's meaningless to the story overall, but it's there. Chapter 2. Im loving voice actors aswell, all of them fit so well, especially Power. To be honest the thing I feared the most is people being turned off by a boobs thing, I love it how you grasp the intent of this plot point immediaetly in a way I feel about it. To really show the very basics of Denji's needs to portray his overall emotional immaturity (or social immaturity) the author chose the best way. Cheesy, stupid and funny. But straight forward.

I know you’ve probably heard this a million times but trust me when I say you will enjoy this story! It’s a great example of common a typical shounen start but it goes way off on another track. There is a ton of subtext, deeper meanings and great development as we get further into it! Enjoy!

Ping Pong The Animation does indeed have a very sketch-like and unique artstyle, which is honestly a great fit for it's story, though I know many people don't like how it looks. The other anime you're thinking of would seem to be Eizouken, which is about three girls trying to become animators - and the passion for the medium definitely shines through in the animation of the show itself. Also an interesting as a look into how anime production works in general.

2022-12-30 22:39:31 Hi, I'm new here. I'm not sure whether anyone recommended it before, but I highly recommend "Goodbye, Eri (さよなら絵梨)", another one-shot manga from Tatsuki Fujimoto. I wonder if there's a chance to also share your reaction to this and LOOK BACK. It'll be wonderful!! (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)" FIRE PUNCH is also my love (the first series from the same author) Just want to share with you that I'm not good at English, but I have re-watched your AoT reaction on YT many times. You're the only one who always sees exactly what I think are key shots and topics with very deep, empathetic, and accurate analytics without any "noisy" reaction. It's so enjoyable to let me just endure not-so-good auto-translation and spend time googling the vocabulary XD. This is why I finally decided to be here and join your Chainsaw Man journey. Thank you & good luck!

Just a funny thing that’s in the comics that didn’t totally show up in the anime is Aki having like a Jim Halpert-esque sort of dead look in his eyes after Denji and Power first meet. Like a slightly “what have I done?” Sort of dead, expressionless look. It’s the last panel of the chapter and it always cracked me up, Aki’s hilarious in such a different way. Fujimoto kills at this sort of stuff. Weird and detailed expressions, his characters always feel very real and alive. That’s why the staff is adding all these details and nuances in character animation, because it’s something Fujimoto really excels at too. Fujimoto’s the truth. I’m so so glad you’re getting into his work. I echo everything Brian said earlier without adding a peep of extra detail. I love his writing to death. Very VERY different from Isayama but I respect him just as much or more.

Hi, will you react to the full OP with lyrics as well? There's a video from the singer's channel and another fan-made one with English lyrics (both are no-spoil videos) on TY as well.

Yea, those are more cinema-like than Chainsaw Man, in my opinion. Especially "Goodbye, Eri" is all about cinema. When I found his reaction channel, the first anime that came to mind was Tatsuki Fujimoto's works. (And the non-anime series was DARK😝, great to see him reacted already!)
