I probably won’t get the time to set and watch your reactions until next week💔. Anyway, have you heard of the upcoming Netflix show 1899? It’s directed and written by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, the same director and writer of Dark. Btw They’re a married couple who made several projects even before Dark. 1899 is supposed to come out this year I think, and as I understood it won’t be fully german like Dark, the cast is diverse since the story will take place in a ship full of immigrants. And also the actor of stranger Jonas will play a character in it and I believe it’s a main one.

I had to chuckle at what I believe is a reference to Falco's hit, "Der Kommissar", when the orderly greets Ulrich with "Alles Klar, Herr Kommissar?". This is a famous line in the song/music video from the early 80's as it's said sarcastically by Falco in the early Rap while being chased by the cops in the video, and I believe became a popular greeting to German cops by certain smart asses back in the day. Falco, along with Nena had #1 hits in Germany in the 80's and are both referenced in Dark so it fits the setting nicely. I thought that I had given myself the ultimate test of self-control when I chose to watch this whole show with you an episode a week, but no - your discussions are making this so worth it. Such a different experience listening to them while also being in the blind for what's to come. This has also genuinely become the highlight of my week. Thanks for all the content man.
