Finally here. This is widely regarded as one of, if not the best episode of the show by many. As you said its crazy that we got so many good episodes back to back after a few mediocre ones.

Personally my favourite bottle episode of doctor who ever, I think there’s better ones that are part of 2/3 parters but this for sure is the best standalone in my opinion

You're right that Moffat has written The Girl in the Fireplace as well as Blink but he also wrote the two parter in s1 The Lonely Child and The Doctor Dances

I think when videos are really great like this, I wish the video would be an hour so we can get more of the episode, or make it more a 50/50 of the episode itself and the recap/review. But yeah, great episode and I think you’ll enjoy the future episodes :D

Steven Moffat is a brilliant writer and anyone who says otherwise is delusional. He became showrunner in 2010 and wrote some of the best episodes in the show's history. In my top 10 list of best Doctor Who stories, I'd say about 7 or 8 of them would be Moffat episodes, and one of his is at the no.1 spot
