Many people have told him many times since the day that 3x12 aired, months now. Almost too many times to be honest. He wouldn't have been able to avoid hearing about it even if he tried to, it was everywhere. Safe to say hes aware, so nothing to worry about.

Regarding Levi telling Historia she needs to become the queen, I'm very disappointed that she flat out accepts it in the anime unlike in the manga where Levi forces her to accept it. I believe it takes away major character development for Historia and doesn't highlight certain lost characteristics of Levi.
