I had no idea about this subject, thank you for summarizing it so well. I wonder though, if the microbiome affects so much a person's behavior, these comportamental/personality studies could focus both on the microbiome and the blood type at the same time. What would happen if, for example, the same fecal transplants were done to different blood types prior to the studies? Maybe few would agree to do so, but perhaps having the same diets for a long period of time would be more acceptable. Other questions that could be considered: what if an A type received a large blood transfer from a type O? Or an AB from an A or B type? P.S.: that Death Note soundtrack right on the types lists made me shiver a bit. People in power that act depending on the blood type of a person is a scary thought (perhaps even more than racial discrimination).
