A little spoiler-safe glimpse at the quality jump you can expect in the first chapter of the book. First image was drawn in about 2018-19, second one was finished last month.

Not all pages had to be redrawn, but touchups were at least necessary to keep SOME consistency in the visuals (ie Wyit's snout or ears being too small/large, or story-critical items being too sketchy when clarity is required). The extra time spent improving them is resulting in a book I'm even more thrilled about than before, and I was already quite thrilled about it to begin with.

The past month was kind of brutal, had to handle things for my dad while my stepmother had to go back home to Russia for a while, and did some MAJOR renovations to my cabin/studio space. Thankfully those are wrapping up now, so I've been resuming drawing work more steadily.

I'll have another paywall sketch post before the end of the month, so stay tuned for that.

I love inking in the first place (it's where the sketches get refined into the full image/"the art", for lack of a better term), so seeing the old versus new comparison is really great for me.

Its really cool to seeing the differences and what your idea looked like at first compared to now. You been really updating your art and yourself over the years. Congrats on the improvements Reagan Lodge.
