Marheim - Early Wyit visdev & pitch illustration (Patreon)

So here's an image from Summer 2016, WAY back before I even started drawing any comic pages and only had the beginning and ending figured out. Rek didn't have the cloak, and Wyit at the time had tufted ears! I was playing with the idea of making him look a little weirder and Jim Henson-ish, but it added too much drawing time and jumbled his silhouette too much.

Back then I was going to pitch the comic on its premise alone, in the hopes that a publisher would pick it up, and this was one of the feature images for it. I didn't get any publishing offers, which in retrospect was probably a good thing, since I would've been in over my head without the experience I have now.

Drawn in Procreate, by the way. I did try to find the video replay of the drawing, but I think this unfortunately was one of the replays that didn't get backed up just before my iPad wiped itself after some failed logins, ugh. Still, here's the high-res image for your wallpaper pleasure.
