“Miss, please reconsider,” Mina said, trying to dissuade Alice from doing so, as the three of them walked into her room.

“Mina it’s fine, no one will care,” Alice said, taking off her dress and corset, and throwing them on her bed. Seconds later she walked over to her dresser and pulled out a plain white dress that one would wear on picnics.

“Do you have an extra?” Juliana asked Alice who had already begun to strip herself.

Alice turned away to make sure that she didn’t look at her in her current attire. While Alice was now quite used to her own body now, that didn’t mean that she was comfortable seeing other girls almost nude just yet. She would feel wrong taking advantage of the girl.

“Here you go,” Alice said handing her a pink dress that was the same style as the one she was wearing currently. She tried to cover her eyes as she did, but Juliana grabbed her hands, allowing Alice to look directly at her.

“There is nothing to be embarrassed about, we’re all girls here,” Juliana said to Alice. To her surprise, this girl was less of an angel than she thought.

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t,” Alice said turning away from her. “I don’t want to take advantage of you. Please forgive me.”

“It’s alright,” Juliana said, stopping Alice from leaving. “I don’t care that you were a guy before this. You don’t have to run away. I won’t judge or misunderstand you for it.”

“Really?” Alice asked, confused why a girl from a family as powerful as hers wouldn’t judge her for who she once was.

“Yes really,” Juliana said to her. “I know what it feels like to be treated differently. For people to look at you and see nothing but a freak. I know what it’s like to be afraid like you are now. Afraid that you’ll be abandoned by those that you love.”

“And what’s that?” Alice asked, able to feel the sincerity in her words.

“I’m a lesbian! I’m attracted to other girls!” Juliana yelled out shocking both Alice and Mina.

Mina was a tad bit shocked to hear that the only daughter of the Anderson family was a lesbian. Alice on the other hand was shocked that she shouted so loud. She never thought such a cute girl could yell this loud.

“What’s the problem with that?” Alice asked her. “Shouldn’t you be allowed to like whoever you like? Why should you care what other people think?”

“Wait, you don’t think I’m a freak?” Juliana said, tears started to form in her eyes, but Alice wiped them away.

“If you don’t see me as a freak for being a guy magically transformed into a girl with dark magic then why should I treat you with such disrespect? From what I can tell already, you’re a kind girl, who shouldn’t have to worry about the opinions of others. What matters is that you stay happy.”

“Do you really think I can be happy as a lesbian?” Juliana asked scared that Alice was just messing with her. Though Alice didn’t hold such prejudices inside her heart. All she saw in front of her was a kind girl that didn’t deserve hatred for liking another girl.

“I say that if anyone has a problem with that, they can take it up with me,” Alice said, trying to assure the girl that she was fine with who she was. “Though if you wouldn’t mind I still don’t feel that comfortable looking at you right now,” she said, her face already bright red.

“Fine, but I don’t care if you look,” Juliana said winking at her. What Alice told her really put her at ease. She had never before thought that she would meet someone that would accept her sexual preference.

“They were white,” Alice mumbled to herself, turning around.

“Hmm? What was that?” Juliana asked as she finished putting on her new dress.

“It was nothing,” Alice said making her way to the door. “Let’s get going.”

“Okay,” Juliana said, wondering why Alice was acting so shy all of a sudden.
