When Alice was transformed into her current state, her deck changed along with her. The spirits inside her deck knew that they had to be there every step of the way. When they saw Alice give up her dignity to save them, they knew that they could never abandon her.

While Alice slept the spirits roamed around her room and they noticed the sounds coming from the walls. To a normal human like Alice the sounds were more like white noise, but to the spirits, it was as if someone was starching a nail over a chalkboard.

They could hear the malicious intent that was brainwashing their mistress and they couldn’t stand it. Though that being said they were still just spirits. They couldn’t physically stop the sounds from coming, but they did have the power to help Alice herself.

Kuriboh who was practically the representative of the deck was the one that would save their mistress. Kuriboh rammed itself into Alice’s gut, forcing her to hug it. As she did she started to calm down.

It isn’t known in the human world all that well, but all Kuribohs have a calm mind effect on any that own their card. One of the reasons that Alice is always ready for a duel and never backs down is actually because of Kuriboh. It helped Alice be the most confident person that she could be.

Now with the help of the other spirits that effect was helping Kuriboh remove the brainwashing placed on Alice. Though it wouldn’t be permanent. The effects would only last a day, but that was more than enough time for Alice to take control. Kuriboh and the other spirits would have to do this daily until Alice becomes immune to the brainwashing.

“Huh, what’s going on?” Alice asked herself, noticing that she was clinging onto Winged Kuriboh as if her life depended on it

The fog in Alice’s mind began to fade as she began to calm down. While she was still upset that she acted the way that she did, she now understood that there was some mysterious force making her do it. Though she had a hunch that her recent behavior today and something to do with her new mother.

Alice did have to admit though that she did look good. Perhaps if she wasn’t compelled to wear this, maybe one day she would have chosen to do so of her own volition. At this point, though all she could think about getting back at the one that put her into such a pretty dress.

Alice walked over to her Duel Academy suitcase and opened it to reveal a whole bunch of random things. Alice began to toss object after object from the suitcase until she found what she was looking for.

They may have prevented her from wearing her Obelisk Blue uniform, as well as her other clothes, but they forgot to take the one that she hid in here. Alice slipped it over her shoulders and then placed Kuriboh on her bed next to her deck.

“Thank you,” she said to them, looking at them with a soft look across her face. “Thank you for everything, but now I have to stand on my own for at least this one time.”

Ariana and Mina had made a fool out of her, so it was about time that she made a fool out of them. This was the start of her counterattack. Let’s see how they react to this.
