“Hello again Miss Arc,” said Ozpin as Ruby and Jaune entered his office. “So have you decided what choice you will choose?”

“I thought about it a lot and I think that I have to see this through. I don’t want to live in fear knowing that I messed up. Please give me the chance to prove once and for all that I am the hunter, no huntress that you always thought I could be.”

“This form of mine may be different, but I know for a fact that I’m not alone. I have Ruby, Yang and all of my other friends to help me through this. With their help I know that I can change for the better.”

“Jaune, no one said that you had to change,” said Ruby and she tried to console her. “Ruby, it’s fine. I’ve always wanted to change but I have never had the courage before to see it through all the way. Maybe this is exactly what I needed all along.”

“Miss Arc is this truly the course of action that you wish to take?” asked Ozpin. “If you do this even with your pillar of support I won’t be able to stop the stares that you receive. You will have to undergo a great deal of trails from here on. I can alleviate that for you by replacing your memories.”

“If I did that I would not only be running away from my own problems, but also leaving my friends behind. I won’t abandon them just because it would be easier for me. This choice was not an easy one, but it is the one that I made. I won’t ever regret the decision I made today.”

“If that is the case I have already notified both of your parents informing them of Miss Arc’s decision,” said Ozpin.

“Wait, how did you already inform them?” asked Ruby. “Jaune just told you what his decision would be. There’s no way that you could have known that he would choose.”

“But Miss Rose I did. To be honest with the both of you I never had the power to change someone’s memories, let alone change an entire school’s worth of memories. Such a thing is beyond my power.”

“Wait, then that means-”

“That this was a test. If Miss Arc had chosen to run away from this trial I would have kicked her out of Beacon on the spot. To choose the option that will help her grow into a stringer person, she has shown the true nature of a huntress.”

“Thank you Professor,” said Jaune, knowing that what Ozpin did was the right thing to do. It was because of him that Jaune knew that she made the right decision.

“Now as for the reason that I contacted both of your families is so that Miss Arc can have some time to get close to her new family.” “New family?” both of them asked at the same time.

“When Jaune Arc entered Beacon his family had officially cut ties with him. With your body being in its current state I have informed your family that it would be best for them to let your be adopted into Miss Rose’s family.”

“Tai yang has raised both Miss Rose and Miss Xiao Long since they were kids on his own. I am sure that you both will benefit with some time off while you get just to your new forms. I am sure that he is more than capable with helping the two of you become acclimated with your new forms.”

“Ozpin, about my family, did they really cut ties with me?” “I am sorry, but it is true. They sent letteres urging you to come back, but after a way they gave up. I am sorry that you had to learn this way.”

“Jaune…” Ruby put her hand on Jaune’s shoulder to let her know that she was there for her. “It’s fine, me and my father never quite seen eye to eye. I doubt that he would want to see his only son turned into a girl.”

“Jaune I swear that my dad isn’t like that. He’ll treat you like his own daughter without question!” “Thanks Ruby. I hope that we can get along.”

“Miss Arc, change is not a bad thing, you said so yourself. While you made be bound to your old family by blood that doesn’t mean that your family that you made here at Beacon is lesser. True bonds come from trust, nit blood.”

“Thank you Professor,” said Jaune as she and Ruby made their way over to the elevator.” “Miss Arc, Miss Rose, I shall see the both of you again once your break is done. I hope that the two of you take a well-deserved rest.”

About a half hour later Jaune and Ruby made it back to the dorms. During the time that they were talking with Ozpin, Yang had gathered up the remaining members of Team RWBY and Team JNPR in the shared living room for both teams.

“Okay, so I know that all of you are wondering why I’ve called you here today, but let me say right here ad now that what I’m about to say is not a joke,” said Yang.

“Yang, you made it even harder for us to tell if you’re telling the truth by just saying that” said Weiss.

“I agree,” said Blake. “You don’t really have a good track record when it comes to stuff like this. Last time you told us that your uncle fell off the third story window and somehow came out without a starch. Whatever you have to say has to be more believable than that.”

“Well, it’s kind of hard to say since neither of them are here yet,” she said as she looked down at her scroll to see that Ruby sent her a text saying that they’re about a minute away. “The easiest way to put it is that they have both undergone some changes of the physical nature.”

“Are they hurt?” asked Pyrrha.

“Oh, did Jaune get in another fight again and had to get Ruby to bail him out?” asked Nora.

“No, they’re both physically fine. It’s just that their appearances have changed to an extent that you wouldn’t even believe that it was them on first glance. Heck I barely believe it when I saw it.

“Yang, you’re not making any sense,” said Weiss. “Just tell us what happened already.”

“Yang are you here?” asked Ruby as both her and Jaune entered to living room. For several seconds everyone but Yang stared at them in silence wondering who the scarlet red-haired girl was and more importantly why there was an exact duplicate of Yang standing next to her!

“Allow me to introduce, Ruby and Jaune,” she said nervously as she pointed at them.

“What!!!” The room erupted in disbelief as they tried to wrap their heads around this because for all they know this could just be another elaborate prank created by yang just to mess with them.

“There’s no way that red haired goddess is Ruby,” said Weiss as she got closer to them. “She does look a bit like Ruby, but I doubt that it’s her.”

“Weiss don’t you remember your super bestie? I mean I could tell everyone what we did last-”

“Okay! I believe her, she’s Ruby. Just please don’t say another word!”

“Then what about this girl?” asked Pyrrha as she examined Jaune. “Pyrrha, come here for a second,” said Jaune as she whispered something in Pyrrha’s ear causing her face to turn red seconds later!

“Oh my god! Jaune it really is you!” she yelled as she hugged her as tight as possible. “How did this happen to the two of you?”

“It’s a long story,” Ruby and Jaune said at the same time.

This was the start if their new lives. Hopefully the future would be kind for them. Though I’m sure that as long as they are together they’ll be able to overcome any obstacle that comes their way.
