“It would seem that Mr., no, Miss Arc’s mental state was unable to cope with the changes of becoming a female. In addition in discovering that she may no longer have a way to turn back,” Ozpin said as Yang laid Jaune gently on the ground.

“Professor what are we going to do?” asked Ruby as she worriedly looked over at Jaune. “Well Miss Rose that is a good question isn't it.”

“Professor Ozpin I say this for both Ruby and Jaune; you need to figure out a way to turn them back. There’s no way that they can live their normal life like this. There has to be some way to turn their back, please Professor, tell me that there is another way.”

“I'm afraid that there is nothing I can do Miss Xiao Long. The best thing that I can do is post an emergency quest to find this Grimm, but even then it still might be taken. It’s almost impossible to find this Grimm. It might be best for the three of you to just accept it.

“Professor what about my uncle Qrow? He's been all over Remnant, can’t he find this Grimm?” asked Ruby.

“I doubt it would work even if I did ask him. That Grimm can sense strong opponents and will do it’s best not to mess with them. Not only that, but due an innate ability of your uncles I doubt that he could even find it. Though even if he does there's also the matter of killing it and bringing it back in time. The fluids that you next to cure yourselves are only potent within the first several days after the Grimm is killed. So unless you can find one in vicinity of this area or anyone that can get it here with a few days there’s just no hope of actually receiving the cure.”

“Professor even if it's just for Jaune you have to fix this. I'm still a girl even after transforming into this. I may be older now but still me. Jaune on the other hand has turned into a completely differently person all together. He should be forced to live like this.”

“I'm afraid you're right,” said Ozpin as he glanced over at Jaune. “There’s something that the two of you must know about Miss Arc. Truth be told Jaune Arc was never actually accepted into Beacon.”

“What? What do you mean Jaune wasn’t accepted into Beacon? If that’s the case why is he here?”

“Well officially the transcripts prove that he's been accepted in Beacon however the truth is that he doesn't meet the proper qualifications to actually be here unlike the other students. Jaune Arc forged his transcripts. Everything written in them were nothing but lies.”

“Before coming here, Miss Arc had never seen actual combat.” “Professor how is that possible?” asked Yang. “I thought you personally selected each student before they were enrolled.”

“I do. I saw the transcript and I knew it was a fake the moment I saw it. Though I decided to enrolled Miss Arc anyways.

“Why? Why put Jaune’s life in danger just so he could be a huntsman? He should have been put through proper training first.” “Because I know what this meant to him. Believe it or not Miss Arc and myself are quite similar. I never received formal training either, but that never stopped me from becoming the Headmaster of this school.”

“My hope was that Miss Ark would grow at his own pace. The challenges that he’s gone through so far have help to proves my hopes. I saw his potential and I saw his courage to stand up for what’s right. If those aren’t the staring qualities of a huntsman and huntress than I don’t know what are.”

“In order to help Jaune grow I purposely set up a situation where he would be on a team with Miss Pyrrha Nikos. I believed that she was the best person to help bring out his latent talent.”

“Wait you planned everything from the start!” “Yes they were. Since the very beginning I planned each team out accordingly. I knew which people would work best with each other. The original test that you all took was made so that I could see not only the talents of each student, but to see how compatible you were with the people that I chose.”

“Miss Arc may not be that great of a fighter yet, but he can understand the flow of battle by just a glance. This is a skill that not many people have. In fact being about to formulate a proper strategy in battle to lead your team to victory is worth more than just a single huntsman or huntress.”

“You possess a similar talent Miss Rose. While your methods and strategies are a bit more unconventional than his they still are able to lead your team to victory time and time again. This is the reason why I chose the tow of you to be captains of your respected teams, over Weiss and Pyrrha.”

“Though I am sad to see that Miss Arc’s mental state wasn't ready for this kind of torment. I should have prepared you students to be able to handle situation such as these. This was an error in my judgement.”

“Professor has this happened before?” “Not recently, but over the years there have been times when students fail their psychological evaluation because they could not handle the stress of being a huntsman or huntress. We have tried our best to make sure that this rarely happens, but it would seem that we will have to up our parameters.”

“As of now there are two things that we can do in order to help Miss Arc. The first is the most obvious choice. We must support Miss Arc as much as possible through this new transition in his, no her life. She will have to learn how to love in her new form and the best way to do so would be to provide an environment where she can safely transition. This will allow her to keep her position in Beacon.”

“The second option is one that I do not wish to impose on anyone though it may be the only solution to fix he shattered spirit.” “What do you mean Professor? Asked Ruby. “In order to make sure that there is no lasting trauma from this ordeal the best way is to make it so that Jaune Arc no longer exists.”

“What do you mean by that Professor?” asked Yang. “I know of a way to alter Miss Arc’s memories. By doing so she will no longer remember being Jaune Arc. She would become a different person all together.”

“You can't do that to someone!” yelled Ruby. “Erasing his memories means that you’re just basically killing him!” “I know Miss Rose, but in his current state who knows how long it will take him to recover. If he can’t return to being a male than this is the fastest way of fixing the problem.”

“That’s an excuse to be lazy Professor!” yelled Yang. “Jaune deserves to be given the proper help, not something that would kill him! If you try to do that to him I will stop you!”

“Be that as it may Miss Xiao Long, this choice shall be Miss Arc’s to make. I will offer her both options and whatever she picks is the one that she decided would be the best for her. I do hope that you understand that it is not your place to interfere in her decision.”

“Professor?” asked Ruby as she tried to calm herself. “I need to ask, if you do alter Jaune’s memories can they ever be restored?” “I’m sorry but any lingering memories of Jaune Arc could be detrimental to her mental psyche, they all have to be erased permanently.”
