[T1]End of July update! Vacation concluded and I lived! (Patreon)
Content
Greetings, my dear patrons!
I have come with not the best news you hope to hear, yet I can assure you that I have live through one of the weirdest ordeal of my life.
First thing first, this is not a content deliver post (and I am sincerely apologize for that.) I will put all the future release download links up. You will know when they are up via my twitter post.
Now where was I all this time?
As I have mentioned, I was out for a little more than 2 weeks for a vacation. My destination was the good old United States of America (NYC to be exact). My time there was a bit surreal, all the crazy stuff I never imagined going to happen, happened. Despite all of that, It was an incredible time to say the least. Great foods, loud but nice people, a bit too chaotic for a hardcore introvert like me but distinctive place nonetheless.
I have enjoyed my time there, although the itch of working on my projects was strong on the go. I did found some free time to work on stuff here and there, still the progress couldn't comparable doing fulltime in my own office. The struggle feeling of missing my office was too real, while the trip was great, I can't wait to be back at my office doing my thing again. All the setup was right for me to have a huge refreshing boost after returning from a long break, but then...
Blue-screened Airports
Yep, I was there. I was one of the people that lucky (or unlucky enough) to witness the Crowdstrike incident happens. While the spectacle was one of the life time chance to see everything turned blue screen. The flights were delayed and cancelled left and right to the point I started to wonder that "am I able to go home?" Fortunately, my flight was still on route...
After hours of flights, I was finally home! Now I should be able to return to my workstation with supercharged power from the long vacation, right?
Introducing...
Influenza type A + Throat & Ears infection.
This, I didn't expected. While I felt healthy on the way back, just after hitting home for just a day, a strong symptom quickly showed up from nowhere. Another week after that was a series of uncontrollable coughing, being too exhausted to wake up but too painful in my throat and ears to sleep, a simple task like drinking water feels like a torture. It was not the most fun week to have just after being fully recharged from a long vacation.
I tried to work myself out of boredom stuck on my bed all day but the progress was not ideal (2 hours max a day before losing focus and feel exhausted again.) The cycle of pain and exhaustion kept kicking me back and forth between the office couch and my bed. I did feel like I am at the end of the disease curve right now, I should be completely healed by the next couple of days.
As I reflect myself about the past month, I have found something both irony and ominous at the same time. Around this time last year, I have caught the very same disease (Flu A + infections) with the very same symptoms. It hits me hard back then and equally hurts this year. My mistakes were completely the same at last year too; I took a Covid booster shot each year before I travel, both time ended up getting sick by Influenza instead. I am going to learn about this and take both Covid and Flu shots next time!
Geez, Skello. This update sounds more and more depressing, is there any good news from you?
Well, I am glad you asked.
Good news 1: I lived!
This month alone made me appreciated one simple gift in life "Not dying". A couple of days ago I was worry about unable to deliver the content on time, but when the survival alone is essential, I am just glad I am able to live to work on more stuff another day.
I do feel bad about missing the delivery, but instead of making thing worse on myself, I am going to focus on recovery and deliver more when I am back to full capacity.
Good news 2: The break is over!
At least for this year. After I have recovered, I will be back for good! I missed working way too much (imagine getting c-ck blocked by a flu just right after you edged for more than two weeks.) It's just good to be back, I only need a little more time to be fully function again.
Updates
I have actually made a bit of progress while I was off the grid. However, with my entire week getting severely disrupted by the flu, I have found myself lack of anything substantial enough to render. The progress of on going project right now could be listed like this.
The current project : Priscilla 70%
Side project : Tsunade extra project (with man and futa) 85%
Next main project : Samus part 3 50%
By my orginal plan, Priscilla should have at least some rendered scenes already. Unfortunately, that mark will be postponed to next week. The project should be swiftly progressing in August for I don't have any personal matter or vacation to take care of anymore!
In the mean time, two new W.I.P renders of Tsunade from nowhere!
Download Links for the upcoming projects. You will be know if they are going online by my twitter posts.

My apology for such a long and exhausting post. July of 2024 feels like some kind of a crazy adventure for me. While the guilt of unfulfilling duty shamed me rightfully so, I am just glad to be back. Please allow me a couple more days of warm beds and medicines. I promise, I will return with new standard (I actually excited about trying the new Live2D functions in the latest update.)
As always, my deepest appreciation for all the supports all of you generously gave me.
Thank you,
And have a nice day!
