Chapter 24: It's My Birthday!! (Patreon)

Hello! 

I am so excited to post on my Birthday!! WOO HOO!

I am so happy you are here joining me! I wanted to share with you my birthday adventure in the mountains of Colorado. 

Me trying to be cute because I am just so happy to be out here. I wanted to be in the middle of nowhere. No service and especially no loud campers to disturb me. Found a beautiful place to set up camp. 

I do love tent camping and sleeping underneath the stars. The nights were warm enough to have the rain cover off. It is incredible the amount of stars you can see without light pollution. 

At sunset I would go to the ridge and admire this view of the mountains. Just in awe. This place had so much to offer me and I am truly grateful. 

The other thing I never mention that make camping great is the food! I don't post much about what I eat while out in the backcountry. Maybe I can if you guys are interested in food and gear stuff. My lifesaver for each trip is my Jetboil (NOT SPONSORED).  It is how I eat my noodles and steap my coffee. 

Let me know in the comments or message me what your favorite camping food is! :) Mine is a cup of ramen. Yum! If I really wanted to get fancy I would take out my cook stove and make campfire chili with fire roasted bake potatoes. Always a favorite. Tell me yours!

The hiking was a bit on the rocky side and that is much to be expected. But holy moly when you reach the top of any mountain....

I think this is the perfect place to watch the sunset. 

I'll just lay here for a.... Nope! Not comfortable haha but this sun does feels nice and the rocks are really warm on my butt. 

I imagine this sunset could last forever. :) 

Feeling the warmth of this sunset made me think about how much I will think of this moment during the winter. Not having to wear boots or have my big winter coat nearby. It's...just..marvelous.

I stayed tucked away in these rolling mountains of green getting excited for every ray of light that would make its way through the trees.  

Standing proud on this mountain top and celebrating life! Another year around the sun to be exact! I am so thankful having all of you here to celebrate with me!
