Gus is a damn amazing character! And yeah, he had a point about Jesse; through his lady friend, he's getting high a lot more often and its spooking potential buyers. I understand your reservations with Hank-err Walt, but Jesse is the one screwing up. Walt is also to be considered a villainous protagonist or at the best an anti-hero. He's not wholly evil, but he is willing to do some dastardly things for his end game.
