I believe season 4 came out during the writers strike so a lot of the episodes feature more improv and are double parters

The actress playing Meredith actually does most of her own stunts including this episode’s car accident scene and from the way she talks about the experience in interviews seems like she really enjoyed doing them despite being bruised up on a few occasions. What a trooper

I like to think Jim would have gotten the job, but turned it down because he realized that the job wasn't the thing that mattered most to him. I agreed with him when he told Pam that he never really came back, and I feel like his asking Pam out was the moment he did finally come back. I do feel bad for Karen, given that she never really did anything "wrong" nor was she an annoying character. But despite all that, after 3 seasons of Jim and Pam doing the "will they won't they" dance, it was so satisfying to see them finally get together. Loving your reactions to the show!
