This episode was suppose to happen right after the gang goes jihad episode which is why frank doesn't talk about sleeping with the waitress.

I dont know if any one has told you this yet but The actors who play Mac, Charlie and Dennis actually created the show and they are also the main writers of the show as well they also edited the show in these early seasons so those 3 guys do a shit ton

another fun fact Charlie and the coffee waitress he is obsessed with are married to each other in real life. and Mac and Dee's actors started dating each other around this season and married each other around season 4 both couple's have kids
