The spinny black ball is a concern, but most importantly, let's fix Keyleth!

This was defiantly Keyleth's big moment to shine, that whole scene with her and the light with the music that played was just chef's kiss. Scanlan also MVP for using Delilah's silence spell against her, letting Keyleth finish Sylas off. Fun fact: in the original campaign, Vex got hit with that spell at end. So for all those who watched the original campaign, the ending was a complete surprise to all of us who watched it the first time.

More trivia: Spellcasting in DnD has requirements, such as verbal words, spellcasting materials and physical gestures. If you prevent the caster from being able to use any of those they can't use magic, So the silence spell on Scanlan prevent him from chanting his spells. "The Whispered one" is the title of Vecna, a powerful archlich/undead deity in DnD, but because his name is licensed they can't use his name in this series. You can really tell Lady Briarwood has the same voice actor as Azula from Avatar, she's going all out with her laughing and screaming. Season 2 is complete so you can go right into it after season 1 is done.

Eh, Sylas isn't a Dracula wannabe, that honour belongs to one of Dungeons and Dragons' greatest villains. The Vampire Strahd von Zarovich, the dude even lives in a region that's just ripoff Transylvania. The whole reason he exists is because Vampires have long been a Monster in Dungeons and Dragons. However they usually ended up showing up at inappropriate times. Because Dungeon Masters would write what were called "Fun House Dungeons" basically Dungeons with whatever whacky Monsters the Dungeon Master had a hard on to use. Never-mind if it didn't make a lick of sense. Strahd's creator Tracy Hickman played in a game where there was a random Vampire in a Dungeon that had previously been made up of Goblins and Orcs. He thought it was the dumbest thing ever, so went home and made his own adventure about a Vampire in a Castle terrorizing a mist-filled realm that was cutoff from the rest of the world. He ran that adventure annually as a sort of Halloween tradition for his D&D group. Eventually it'd be published as Castle Ravenloft, considered by some to be one of the greatest adventures ever written. This concludes our Dungeons and Dragons Heritage minute.
