Great series this, it's worth reading up on the expedition after you finish the season. Very fascinating.

(Thought the song was appropriate since it mentions the Franklin Expedition and their search for the Northwest Passage. Fun fact Northwest Passage has been voted most likely candidate to be Canada's national Anthem if we ever get rid of Oh Canada).

Funny you mentioned the technology on the ship, I think this voyages was, if not the first, then one of the first trips to make use of the new invention of canned food, which explains why eating hasn't been an issue so far. I think the scene where the guy went underwater was my favourite. Even though I know I'd shit myself if I ever had to do anything like that in real life, it looked oddly beautiful under there. I guess just seeing the enormity of it.
