I have to agree on what you said about if we didn't know any better, you'd think this was all a joke. Out of context, he may seem like he's a method actor or comedian going all out for his character or sketch. God, I wish that was the case.

Since the last episode posted on here got me interested, I ended up watching this entire series on and off, and jesus christ is it an experience. After 70 parts of this, I was a changed man. it makes me sad coming back here, because at this point in the timeline, he seems so.. salvageable.

I honestly don't think I've heard you laugh as loud before as you did when you heard about officer nasty lol. something I always need to stress is that Chris at least to some degree is aware of what he's doing, he's just an awful person who refuses to take responsibility and looks for excuses not to improve. There's a lot of scary foreshadowing in his early life, like the whole megan drawing incident, the theorizing about him and his mother... the "no one will ever take this medallion" thing, and the game place, oh god the game place, remember that store name, it comes up a few times later in some big ways, and I honestly thing what happens later with the game place is at least part of the reason Chris thinks he's invincible and can do whatever evil thing he wants. Oh I should mention, in terms of Chris Chan insanity, we're still in shallow waters but if I remember right we're about to drop a few depths soon by around episode 9 if "that" troll is coming up, this might be nearing the time those radio hosts opie and anthony found out about him as well.

I knew of Chris but never watched this before. I started when you posted your ep 1 reaction and watched like 50 episodes though. It's a real slog after a while. I feel both disgust and pity for CWC. His mental illness isn't his fault, and neither is his crappy role models. That said, at every single juncture in his life he makes the wrong choice. There are so many times when he could have done the right thing, yet he just chooses not to.
