Meh I never believed in people seeing the future or what not lol. He was OBVIOUSLY using his many years of watching anime to correctly guess what he was gonna happend based off what has happend many situation before and using his obviously superior intellect he guessed the only correct outcome, it's the ONLY explanation lol.

All three of Asta's swords have an additional ability alongside being anti-magic. His original thick black one can reflect magic back at people. His thin one he found in the dungeon with Diamond face can absorb and throw magic back out in a ranged attack. We saw him do it with both Noelle and Gauche's magic on different occasions. Licht also used it that way after snatching ot from Asta in their fight. His new one can remove the leftover effects from magic even without making direct contact. Like with the poison, he just had to channel it and it cured everyone. Just a neat detail I like to actually justify why he doesn't just use one sword all the time.

I do like the new sword, but I do feel that this new sord is a bit convenient to get at this time. Like Asta gets a sword from the big bad boss that just so happens to have the exact ability he needs to undo the elf spell. It has the exact ability they need to combat the new big threat and while I am ok with this it does feel to me a bit funny that right when they get a big problem, Asta gets the exact tool he needs to overcome it.

Also, this episode made me realize that the Elf resurrections aren't just elf souls inside of human bodies. Like the hosts have similar interests to their elf counterparts as well as some having a similar appearance.
