Yeeeeaaah. So they now live in an entirely different dimension lol Morty is living with his "family" that he really doesn't know, and they abandoned their original family. Rick is used to seeing copies of his family in multiple dimensions, so he doesn't really have much attachment to them the same way Morty does. Nothing really matters as Morty thought it did.

I think the reason Morty is so freaked out at the end is because its finally hitting him how insignificant he is and how nothing really matters. Sure he knew about infinite timelines and alternate realities but I think this is the first time its really hit him. Imagine finding out that nothing you say or do matters because its already happened an infinite number of times in an infinite number of realities. Imagine realizing that you've already died before just didn't know it. That's a lot for anyone to have thrown at them let alone a 14 year old. Also Ive been watching for a long time on Youtube but I just joined patreon because all your videos are so great!
