Imo Sol’s backstory is easily one of the heaviest the shows has talked about, seeing the implied imminent r@pe.(censoring it for Patreon’s dumb ass) Honestly it’s such a left swing for this type of genre that it actually impressed me they put it in, making me respect Sol and Black Clover a lot more

Also something to point out now that you’ve seen Kirsch more. Kirsch was raised to see peasants as inferior, while Langris was raised to see himself as superior. Kirsch was taken to places and shown the ugly side of poverty, which caused him to develop a hatred towards it. Meanwhile Langris was always hyped up by his parents and treated like no one else was as good as him, even his own brother. In the end, you can see how much of a difference that makes for them. While both are narcissists, it’s mot planted deeply into Kirsch the same way it is Langris. When Kirsch was gotten the better of, he acknowledged Asta’s magic as strong and ugly, and wanted to get rid of it. However, he didn’t let Asta’s title get in the way of taking Asta seriously as a person. Langris is just a dick to everyone, including other nobles. Even when he sees how spectacular other people are, he’s not afraid to try and knock them down a peg. In the end, I have a lot more respect for Kirsch out of the two seeing how more open he is.
