Loved how it took Kirara knowing she is the same blood type as Kondo to make herself take that last leap off the roof. Poor fucking Kondo 🤣

I always liked this episode. A lot of people slam it and Kirara as being selfish, because of the suicidal gesture, but I don't think that realize that almost all suicide attempts are a cry for help. Meanwhile, it shows the true chivalry that Shinpachi has. My only complaint with this arc is that Sorachi never follows up on it. I feel like she should have been a recurring character.

I love that the story more or less involves everyone playing Cyrano for Shinpachi. (Cyrano de Bergerac is a play about a guy who writes poems for a shy guy who's trying to make a girl fall in love with him). Unlike most Cyrano stories though, it turns out that the girl is pretending to be someone else as well. And instead of falling in love with the author, they end up starting over from square one, corresponding with each other. Yeah, this is the first of list of girls that Sogo turned into his slaves. The dude is a Sadist unlike any other. And like GoldArthur said, it's a shame Sorachi never did more with the character of Kirara. Because the way this story ends, it sets it up for there to be more stories revolving around her and Shinpachi's blossoming relationship. I'm gonna chalk it up to him pulling a Toriyama and forgetting that Kirara existed. Which is understandable when you consider how many stories and characters he's created for this series. Still a shame though.
