Can't believe we've already made it through 125 episodes. Time flies when you're having fun. Also in regards to Kagura's voice being exactly what you'd picture, I believe the manga author has said that he now hears these voices when he draws the characters.

I remember this incident with the Cherry blossoms happening a lot earlier in the Manga. Like not long after Kondo started stalking Otae early. Which is why Gin asks Shinpachi why he hadn't gone to the Magistrate to do something about it. I guess back then they didn't think it an exciting enough chapter to animate it. But then they needed something to fill the time that wasn't another recap episode.
