I can give Nozel a fair few points of respect since he both called out his siblings for insulting Feugoleon, but also wants to avenge him and hurt the ones that hurt him. Nebra and Solid may be arrogant losers, but Nozel seems like he has some redeeming qualities. And you're right about the Wizard King being smart. He rallied the people with opposing their attackers, but withheld the information about the barrier mages either being MIA/killed or defecting. He needs the people to be confident that he and the magic knights can defeat their foes. It ensures continued order with unanimous support from the people, which is what one needs to win a war. Their master sounds like he has a messiah complex about him. Inspiring hope in the hopeless and acting like he's the answer to their plights. Quite a dangerous mind to contend with. Edit: When Wizard King said to wait for Fuegoleon to wake up after also calling him the Lion King, I was reminded of that song in Lion King that Timone and Pumba sing about Simba: "In the jungle, the mighty jungle, The Lion sleeps tonight"

Time magic vs Light magic. Pretty good match up when you think about it since the only thing that can stop the flow of time is light speed. The Wizard King has met a formidable foe.
