Oo nice pick. I remember watching this and liked it. I think it was after watching Hyouka when I was on a mystery binge lol

(Hmm. I definitely commented on this last night, but it didn't save it. :/) I'm glad you enjoyed it! To expand just a little on my decision to only sponsor one episode... There are certain things that I'm more accepting of from an OVA or one-shot type story. Like important characters who never really get explored or themes that get set up but don't really come together by the end. As a whole, Heaven's Memo Pad is guilty of both. But this first episode stands alone really well. Narumi's talk of all these individual pixels coming to make up the whole picture is this great connecting point throughout, relevant to every aspect of this first little tale. (And the eerie music that starts up when Alice reveals it all is SO GOOD.)
