I was watching on Funimation, and they only list 2 seasons, extended editions and a movie.

Soul Eater's a classic, the visual style is entirely unique to it itself, and the show in general just oozes style, you'll definitely love the characters as well. I've actually recently started to collect the new perfect edition of the manga and you can see a big difference in the visual style between it and the anime, the manga art started out more flowy and cutesy, but it slowly evolves throughout the series into the style they'd use for the anime, I think it's like a 3rd through the series before Maka and the others look like they do in the anime, even after that the authors style keeps evolving and becoming more defined, it's a shame they never animated the second half of the manga, because it just gets crazier and more beautiful lookin from there.

AYYYY Soul Eater! I'm incredibly hyped for this one. I think i've mentioned it before but this is the anime that got me into anime at large. I used to watch Naruto or Yugioh on weekend mornings on TV, but had no concept of 'anime' until i got to this. Then one summer i saw and promptly rewatched this show 3 times in a row, i was enamored, and now i'm several hundred anime series' down and still going. So this series has a special place in my heart, and revisiting it with you after several years only makes it better

I think soul eater was like the 4th anime I ever watched, and since it didn't continue after season 2, It might have been the first time I transitioned from anime to manga cause I wanted to continue the story Very nostalgic 😁

fun fact death's number works better in japanese as it is, as usual, a pun. the numbers 4-2-4-2-5-6-4 read as shi-ni-shi-ni-go-ro-shi, which roughly translates to: death death murder. a fitting number to belong to a being like death
