Gotta give the old man credit, he went out like a boss. He was holding his own against Makashima, hell he had the upper hand. Which is something not even Kogami ever really managed. The only reason Makashima isn't in custody right now is he had that pipe bomb. Also kind of a dumb move on Ginoza's part to keep moving after seeing the first booby trap. It was way too obvious with the laser, it was a distraction to prevent them from looking for a second booby trap.
