Kaido actually didn’t want the old woman to help him fight Oden. Kaido actually kills her afterwards for interfering in the fight. Remember Kaido’s main goal is to die a glorious death, we learned that about him when he was first introduced. So Kaido must have thought Oden was capable of giving him the ultimate fight.

Shinobu was the only ninja/kunoichi that remained loyal to Oden among the top elite ninjas of Wano. Oden repaid that loyalty by saving her life like the badass chad that he is. Shinobu was quite a looker back in her prime. There is also a theory I saw a while back about Fuku(the bald guy with the big head) supposedly one of the wrinkles on his forehead is a third eye, the theory alleges that he is similar to Pudding. This in turn means he may be able to read the ponegliffs as that is what Big Mom wanted Pudding to eventually learn. What I do like about Kaido vs Orochi... Err reason #45345345 why he's a better man than him is that Orochi doesn't care what Oden is trying to get at, but Kaido is curious and is willing to hear out his request. Much as I hate both Big Mom and Kaido, I respect their cunning, strength, and tenacity. Orochi though... Give the itty bitty bitch baby his bottle so he'll shut the hell up. :P

It’s gonna be interesting to see how Zoro will use Enma against Kaido, makes you wonder if he is as strong as Oden and could cut Kaido

Before the Samurai went into battle against Kaido, the announcer gave a little spiel talking about how the people who saw them walking in the crimson sunrise dubbed them the 'Akazaya Nine'. He also mentions that after the battle, they would bear witness to 'a miracle' or as the manga put it, 'an hour of legends!' I'm sure in need of a legendary hour after this shitshow!
