When I first watched the show I'd heard a lot of ppl rave about hayasaka but I never really understood the hype until this episode - she's undisputed mvp for kaguyas side

Parents like Kaguya's father are parents I despise the most. Every since my first child till my twelveth one, I know a dozen I was a machine back in the day, I've loved and cared for them. Till this day all of them are still my babies, and their kids are my grandbabies. No matter how much I worked for them to have everything I didn't, I never onced forgot to tell them that I loved them, good work, a thumbs up, a pat on the head, or a kiss on the head. Even when things got rough for me I never let it showed to them. In the end all my love and work paid off. Now that my wife is gone, they're all I have left and everyday they either visit me or make sure I'm okay. This is simply why, even though we don't see him most of the time, I hate Kaguya's father. I just don't get why some parents are like that to their children

I'd call Chika a spoiled rich girl, but then that'd be hypocritical lol, I've travelled to a lot of different places as well You really understand how Kaguya turned out the way she did after seeing her father, we don't really know anything about him, and that's kind of the point, he's pretty much absent from her life, no wonder she became the "ice princess".

It sucks that Kaguya tries to dismiss her sadness because she has status and friends. In reality I'm sure if she was open about how she felt her friends would comfort her. Thankfully Hayasaka is always by her side and is willing to call her dad an asshole
