Roshi such a beast for causally blowing up the moon. I know kid Goku is very strong and durable even without ape mode, but I think the MAX POWER Kamehamea is too OP even for Goku rn.

Well if Chun had killed Goku with the Kamehameha then he'd actually get disqualified. Killing isn't allowed in the tournament which will be explored more in the arcs to come.

Also this is where Goku's drive to find stronger opponents really manifested, as it was Roshi's lesson to him that there is always someone stronger that really has him looking forward to another fight. That's why Goku can look forward to the next fight since he knows the person he just not fought might not be the best in the world and for all he knows a greater fighter is waiting just around the corner.
