It's amazing that I kinda feel bad watching that bitch, Carmilla, get taken out! Of course, I'll get over it...

isaac has one of the best character arcs in fiction NGL

As much of a crazy psycho bitch as Carmilla is, I gotta admire that pure middle finger energy of hers at the end.

SpazBoysComedy

Couldn't agree more! I was honestly surprised that I was kinda sad at her being eliminated!

MWS

i only ever realised this now, watching this reaction: the ending scene with isaac and hector connects back to his talk with bug eyes, isaac using that knife to cut the lime reminds me of his quote earlier "A hammer can be used to build a village, Or crack a skull"

Lewd Angel

One thing i have to comment on, i was very surprised that, given what you know of vampires and humans, you were under the impression Issac was just going to squash match Carmilla. Thing is, vampires and humans are leagues and miles apart in terms of ability, take into consideration that it took Hector's magic barrier and hundreds of night creatures to exhaust Carmilla, who then had to fight Issac and another legion of his creatures at the same time, and STILL nearly won. Had this been a genuine 1v1, or hell, if Carmilla simply wasn't completely exhausted and caught off guard, she would've wiped the floor with Issac. Vampires are just too OP, we'd have a repeat of what happened when Hecktor tried to kill Lenore, only much more bloody.

Lewd Angel

Carmilla is one of those sympathetic characters, just not a justifiable one. She had everything taken from her so she wanted to take everything from everyone else, add a little vampiric natural greed to it and you get the psychotic balls-nailed-to-the-walls package that is Carmilla. She was a very cool character tho, as is almost everyone in this show

Is it weird that during the entirety of Isaac's invasion of Styria, all I could think is "Is Fly-Eyes alright?"

V_VMat

Too bad for Carmilla that she can't control or drink all the blood that's around like Hellsing's Alucard does. She clearly needed some sip! With all the build up during the season, after the battle was over and Carmilla was dead, it felt kinda anticlimactic 😅 But what Isaac and Hector talked after was also great. "This is how they get us, Hector. They convince us that there's no tomorrow. There's only an eternal now, and best we can do is survive until dawn and do it all again. That's no way to live" Great words!

Daniel Gonzalez

Weird I coulda swore I posted something about Camilla maybe I forgot to hit post because I don't think it was anything that offensive to get deleted over

Daniel Gonzalez

No way she took out hundreds dozens for sure but if it'd been literal hundreds she would've been overwhelmed before Isaac got there

Daniel Gonzalez

I don't see how she was sympathetic at all she says she was turned and then served some master guy lots of people serve others it doesn't mean everything was taken from them if anything its just her word we have to take at face value but I feel her actions speak louder she's exactly the same type as those she refused to serve under i despised her glad she's finally gone

SpazBoysComedy

The good thing is, they don't delete posts around here, but they do definitely occasionally not post them sometimes when you hit "post". 😞

Issacs's stand seems pretty powerful i wonder what other ability's it has

As much as I liked the Issac and Hector portions and a little of the vampire couple stuff, I would of like it if the Belmont and Syther (sorry I can't remember their names) were a little more involved. While Issac was fighting through a tower of mind controlled civilians and the whole doubt in Carmilla's plan was happening Belmont and friend were busy deciding if they wanting to help a royal family. I know that they were trying to address how they have been very Reactive Protagonists in the previous arc but I can't help but feel the pacing for them feels very slow during this arc.
